We really enjoyed our stay - the staff were excellent, very friendly and accomodating. The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean and the bed so comfortable. Signs of some wear and tear in the room but nothing major. Food in bar and restaurant very good,would prefer option of fresh fruit in dining room instead of tinned fruit but that is a personal preference and not a criticism of the hotel. The leisure facilities were excellent for a 3 star hotel, better than those of some 4 star hotels I have stayed in. The only downside to our stay was the constant traffic noise which could be still be heard in our room at the back of the hotel but the traffic was exceptionally busy on account of the rally and probably not as bad at other times, perhaps an upgrade to better quality double glazing windows in the future would help. Overall a very pleasant stay and we would not hesitate to stay again.

We have stayed many times in the Clanree and it is a beautiful , comfortable hotel. We look forward to staying there in the future. We use it as a base to tour Donegal and enjoy its breathtaking senery.
