Brilliant hotel. Loved it.

We booked a short family break here. We live less than an hr away so we were unsure if it would feel like a break being so close to home but it was perfect. My parents are involved in committees that take them to conferences held in hotels all over Ireland and they could quite easily say that the Clanree outshone many of them, if not them all. What put them on top, my dad reakons, was their staff. Especially in McGettigan's Bar . Their attentiveness and friendliness were second to none. The hotel has all facilities that keep kids happy and we had no reason to leave the hotel at all, even with it being on the doorstep to the town. The fact that we were so close to home was the added bonus. No one looks forward to a 3 hr journey with exhausted kids after such a relaxing break, my advice to family & friends is the next time they're looking for a break, look closer to home. Hard to beat what's right in front of you.

The Clanree was a fantastic choice for a relaxing weekend away. Everything you needed was there. Staff couldn't have done enough for us. The attached bar was great crack with live entertainment all weekend, fabulous food and an amazing carvery . Plenty of choice, comfort and exceptional manners.
